This was an extremely popular starter, however, your comments were passed on to our Chef who has already...One of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh. The name Kyloe, an old Scots word for Highland beef cattle, was chosen for the restaurant as it represents the strength and versatility of Scottish beef produce.

Our fillet was perfectly cooked and very tender but flavourless as it must have been cooked on a griddle using no oil or butter - so the only flavour was from the sauce on the side, which was just OK. Let's just say that the my tastebuds weren't tingling.
